בנְיָמִינָה היא מושבה ליד רמות מנשה, דרומית לזכרון יעקב, מזרחית לאור עקיבא וצפונית לפרדס חנה. בשנת 2003 אוחדו הרשויות המקומיות בנימינה וגבעת עדה לכדי מועצה מקומית אחת - בנימינה-גבעת עדה.

בנימינה נוסדה בידי בנים של עולי העלייה הראשונה ממושבות האזור (זיכרון יעקב וגבעת עדה) ועולי העלייה השלישית שהתיישבו בה ב-1922. אדמת היישוב נרכשה מידי פיק"א, היישוב נקרא על שם הברון רוטשילד והיה חקלאי בתחילתו. פקידות הברון רוטשילד, שהביאה את המתיישבים הראשונים לבנימינה, הביאה גם משפחות יוצאי גאורגיה, לסייע בחקלאות, ובתעשיית הבשמים. מפעל "יסמין" לייצור בשמים לייצוא נפתח במושבה בשנת 1925‏. לאחר מלחמת העולם הראשונה הצטרפו קבוצות רבות למקום והוא גדל במהירות. בנוסף הגיעו אל האזור קבוצות עבודה כגון קבוצת מנורה בהנהגת גרשון שץ לעבודה בייבוש ביצות כבארה.

בנימינה נמצאת באיזור הצפוני של מרכז הארץ. בנימינה תופסת שטח של 25.7 קמ"ר.
